The goal of the Philipsburg-Osceola Graduation project is to prepare students to transition from their high school education to the world of work. Some students will go directly from high school to the workforce; others will further their education through business, technical school, or two or four year college programs.
Preparation for a student’s future begins when they enter high school. Components of the graduation project are intended to assist students in choosing careers, scheduling appropriate courses, hands-on experiences in their chosen career pathway and mapping the path to achieve their career goals.
The completion of the graduation project is a requirement for graduation. Students will be assisted by their advisory teachers, guidance counselors, school administration and community members to make their transition from high school to the world of work a success.
