My name is Becky Kohute and I am the Senior High School Librarian.
I love reading and I love my job.
This year marks my five-year anniversary as a school librarian; I taught English for thirteen years prior. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Francis College in English/Secondary Education and a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Library Club
The Student Library Club (SLC) is alive and well. We're looking for students who want to make a positive impact at the Senior High! Student Library's Club focus is to promote reading at the high school level. In recent news, the SLC is sponsoring the Teen Read Week "Get Caught Reading " program. Library Club officers have just been elected.
Senior High Interscholastic Reading Team *New this year!
To date we have 29 members who are preparing to compete at Meyersdale in the Spring.
Teen Read Week

The Senior High Faculty will be trying to "catch students reading" this week. Students who are apprehended can bring their summons to the library to claim a prize. In addition, all winners will be entered into a drawing to win a fabulous prize donated by our local businesses.
