Welcome to The White Team
What is the white team?
Your child will be part of the teaming approach again in the 9th grade. I, Jeri Bookhammer(English), will be working closely with David Yoder(Math), Doug Perry (Science), and Roy Warlow (History) all of whom are part of the White Team. We will all meet each day to discuss academic progress as well as behavioral issues of those students on the White Team. We will also be incorporating the Flex Block into each 9th grade student’s schedule. This will be a class (which is 7th period) devoted to completing homework assignments and studying for tests. Mr. Yoder, Mr. Perry, Mr. Warlow, and I will all be available during this same period to assist students on our team in any way we can. As many of you know the teaming approach seems to be very beneficial to the students and I believe that it will also be beneficial in assisting the 9th grade students make a successful transition to the high school level.
