Interested in becoming a Substitute in the district....Attend a one day Substitute Training Program
A one-day guest teacher (Substitute) training program, sponsored by the Central Intermediate Unit # 10, will be held at Centre Hall Elementary School in Centre Hall, PA on January 10, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. During training, you will learn techniques to deal with today’s students and review effective teaching tips and tools to manage the classroom. PO Middle School Christmas Band Concert will take place on December 18th at 7:00 PM in the Band Room. Featuring the 5th grade band, 6th grade band, and 7/8 grade band. There is no charge for the concert but a collection of non-perishable food items for the YMCA Christmas project will take place. For Additional Information Click Here!
November Middle School Construction Update- Finishing work is takingplace in the hallways with sound panels being installed. Art, Music and Family& Consumer Science rooms are complete and classes are taking place. Thegymnasium is complete and is now being used. The library is currently beingstocked with books and equipment and will be ready in the near future. Workcontinues on the administration wing, auditorium and boardroom. Click here to see Photos
Financial Aid Night: The Philipsburg-Osceola Counseling Department is hosting a Financial Aid information night on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 6:00 PM in the senior high school auditorium. A representative from PHEAA will be here to speak with any interested parents of Seniors and Juniors about financial aid for college. The event is free and open to parents and students.

Literacy at P-O: This website section contains the latest information about P-O's historic Keystones to Opportunity grant award, including professional development information for teachers.
