August 2012 - School board approves official name as Philipsburg-Osceola Area Middle School.
 
July 2012 - Construction begins!
 
2011
Fall 2011 and Winter 2012: P-O works with Fourth Economy to explore reuse options for the Junior High School Building. Mutiple community meetings are held with local stakeholders to discuss the options.  
 
November 9, 2011: Middle School Education Specifications presented to the board and public.
 
February 8, 2011: Elementary capacity study presented to the board and public.
 
March 1, 2011: Board holds public interviews for architect.
 
March 8, 2011: Stantec, formerly Burt Hill, hired as the architectural firm for the project.
 
2008-2010
 
December 2008: Feasibility Study Completed by Architects Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates.
 
October 26, 2009: At a school board meeting, Facilities Director Don Blake presents an overview of renovation needs as described in the feasbility study.

October 26, 2009: Community members are invited to join building committee.

November 16, 2009: School Board approves 23 members to serve on the committee. 
 
November 18, 2009: First Building Committee meeting. Group reviews building options and divides into subcommittees to begin studying the options in greater detail.

December 15, 2009: Second Building Committee meeting. Subcommittees present pros and cons of 5-, 4- and 3-building plans.

January 12, 2010: Public Forum at school board meeting, 7 p.m. at the North Lincoln Hill Elementary multipurpose room. Does the community support a 5, 4 or 3 school building renovation plan?

February 15, 2010: Deadline for the public to return completed community surveys.

March 3, 2010: Fourth Building Committee meeting. Community survey results are reviewed.

March 9, 2010: Community survey results are presented to the school board.

March 11, 2010:  Fifth Building Committee meeting. Committee picks 4-building option.

Summer 2010: Board holds public interviews in search of consultant to develop Education Specifications.
