OME 3rd graders create Living Wax Museum
Osceola Mills third grade students read biographies and identified a person they wanted to represent in a Living Wax Museum on April 20. Each student researched a famous person and wrote an essay, summarizing that person’s life. During the museum, guests approached each students’ desk and pressed a “button” to hear the information presented by each student in costume. Famous people included Oprah Winfrey, Joe Paterno, Jane Goodall and Teddy Roosevelt. The OME event was modeled after a similar one at NLH last school year. Several students presented their work at the April school board meeting. (see photo below)
