The primary focus of the committee is to detect and correct workplace hazards. Improving workplace safety by reducing actual or potential hazards will help reduce employee injuries and reduce costs for the district. The safety committee will assist the district in making recommendations concerning occupational safety.

 For 2012-2013, meetings are scheduled on the second Wednesday of each month 1:00-3:00 PM.
