Finishing work is taking place in the hallways with sound panels being installed. Art, Music and Family & Consumer Science rooms are complete and classes are taking place. The gymnasium is complete and is now being used. The library is currently being stocked with books and equipment and will be ready in the near future. Work continues on the administration wing, auditorium and boardroom.
Construction continues at the Philipsburg Osceola Middle School. In the next few weeks the library, Family Consumer Science, Art, Music, Guidance Office, and Grade 5/6 science lab will be ready for teachers and students. Work continues in the Gym, Auditorium, Administration Offices, and exterior of the building. Landscaping and lighting continues on the exterior of the building. Drywall, painting, flooring, lighting, and plumbing continue in the areas scheduled to be completed by the end of the 2013.
Students, Teachers, and Staff started the school year with school wide orientation and the 1st day of classes. Although construction continues at the Philipsburg Osceola Area Middle School classes are in full swing. Parking lot pavement and sidewalk installation is nearing completion. Drywall, flooring, painting, ceiling installation, and casework are being completed throughout the building. Cafeteria equipment and flooring have been installed. Work continues on the next areas to be completed in October and December. Exterior brickwork, windows and doors installation, and courtyard area are all being worked on.

Construction continues at the Philipsburg Osceola Area Middle School. Exterior brick and sidewalk work is taking place. New windows are being installed throughout the building. Flooring is being installed and painting is taking place in Phase N1. Demolation has taken place in Phase R3c (the old cafeteria area and multipurpose room) and Phase R3b (the Technology Center). Exterior lighting has also been started. The new main enterance is also being worked on.
Construction continues at the future Philipsburg Osceola Area Middle School. Construction on the auditorium and gym area continue. Cement is being poured and utilities are being run. Drywall and utilities continue to be installed in all areas of the renovation and addition. Exterior brick work is also taking place at the front of the building. Work continues in the courtyard area with the area being sealed and dirt being backfilled.
Construction continues at the future Philipsburg Osceola Area Middle School. Demolition and construction continue in Phase R2 and R4. Roof replacement has started on the remainder of the original building. Utilities, floors, exterior and interior walls continue to be constructed on the addition.
Construction continues at the current North Lincoln Hill building. Students moved into the current Phase R1 renovated area on April 1st. Seven classrooms are enjoying the renovated area. Completed flooring, walls, furniture, ceilings, and restrooms. Office areas and nurse suite are also complete. Contractors have been painting, installing casework, lighting, heating/AC units and flooring in Phase R1 of the renovated area. Windows will be installed soon. The construction of main steel framework is moving along in the Phase N1 addition. Exterior walls, classroom framing, and pouring of concrete floors have also started to take shape in Phase N1 areas.
Contractors have been busy inside and outside the building. Framing and drywall has taken place in phase 1 of the renovation. Contractors will begin painting soon. A new roof has also been installed in the phase 1 area. Outside the caissons are complete, footers have been poured, and steel framing is being set for the addition.
Work crews arrived at the North Lincoln Hill site to begin construction on the future Philipsburg-Osceola Area Middle School. Much site work is taking place, including the drilling of cassions for the foundation of the addition. Some older segments of the current building were demolished. Classrooms were safely isolated from construction before school began on August 29. Asbestos was removed entirely before students entered the building.
