Starting Tuesday, Feb. 21, new students currently in grades k-12 who want to enroll at P-O should visit the Administrative Office at North Lincoln Hill, 200 Short Street, Philipsburg, to register. Music teachers will perform on Friday, March 9 during a special faculty concert at the HS at 7 p.m. All proceeds to benefit the P-O Music Department. The concert will feature an eclectic mix, including ragtime, Billy Joel, jazz and Irish folk. Admission is free and donations will be collected at the door. See flyer. February Osceola Mills Elementary donates to Warm Paws and SPCA organizations. Third grade class collects donations, food and pet items. See photos. Philipsburg Elementary is organizing support for Emily Whitehead. Emily is a first grader at PE with leukemia. On Feb. 15, the school kicked off a series of fundraisers and is planning a walk-a-thon on Feb. 29. Emily's fans will sell purple bracelets, paper sneakers and Pizza Hut cards.
