High school students in Mrs. Groves classes packed 300 care packages for soldiers currently deployed on the Nimitz Aircraft Carrier in the South China Seas.  The non-profit Soldiers' Hand provided the supplies to our students - hand cream, lip balm, sunscreen, retired flag star, and candy as well as covers the shipping cost.   Before Christmas, students made 300 handmade cards that went in the care packages students assembled.  In March 2023, a total of 5400 care packages will be arrive and be delivered to every soldier on the aircraft carrier to thank them for their services.  Please visit asoldiershands.org for more information on how you can help or email contact information for your family or friend who is currently deployed.
